NIR: What do they stand for?

| May 3, 2024 1:00 AM

Jack Riggs, M.D.’s opinion piece from April 26 left me wondering whether any of the North Idaho Republicans have ever criticized the policies and ideology of the Democrat Party. Also, I have read opinions from Michael Baker, and he gives the impression that he is ideologically on the left.

What are the NIR’s positions on issues such as the transgender agenda, the essentially open border policy of the Democrats, the soft on crime practices of progressive district attorneys throughout the country, and the Democrats’ unfettered abortion rights even up to the very moment of birth?

Does the NIR accept “transgender affirming care” for minors, in essence experimenting on children? Does the NIR accept the tenets of DEI policies? What is NIR’s stance on CRT? Doesn’t the NIR believe that the Democratic Party has an extreme ideology?
