Sand Creek Byway opening date set

Idaho Transporation Board member Jim Coleman listens as Idaho Transportation Department Deputy Director Scott Stokes thanks a crowd of several hundred people for the community's support for the Sand Creek Byway project. The project, which is expected to officially open in the near future, was formally dedicated in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Friday.

The Sand Creek Byway will open in one week.

Idaho Transportation Department officials announced today that the Highway 95 realignment project will open to traffic on Friday, July 27.

The $100 million project was officially dedicated June 29 at a ceremony which attracted more than 500 people.
