Press poll: Raise federal minimum wage

Readers of The Press online agree with President Obama that it's time for an increase in the federal minimum wage.

But this was no landslide election.

Those favoring a minimum wage increase mustered 556 votes, or 51 percent. Those opposing the increase, believing it will lead to fewer jobs, tallied 532 votes.
