PREP SOCCER: T-Wolves shut out Lewiston

LEWISTON - Vinny Cavalin scored off a feed from Mason Sanchez early on and the Lake City Timberwolves went on to shut out Lewiston 7-0 in Inland Empire League play on Monday at Lewiston High.

Sanchez added a goal and another assist and Rikki McCaw also had a goal and assist. Tanner Horton made six saves in the shutout.

Lake City (7-4-3, 3-2-1 IEL) is seeded No. 3 for the district tournament, and faces host Coeur d'Alene (No. 2) on Wednesday.
