Kramer is a member of the Vandals Athletics Hall of Fame, as well as the 50th Anniversary NFL Team and 50th Anniversary Senior Bowl All-Time team. Kramer played for the Vandals from 1954-57, when he was drafted by the Packers in the fourth round as the 39th overall pick.
