Christensen wins 2nd tourney in 6 days

PENDLETON, Ore. - Bob Christensen of Post Falls capped off an impressive week of golf with a 5 and 3 victory over Darren Kuhn of Pocatello on Friday to win the 37th Pacific Northwest Men's Master-40 Amateur Championship at Wildhorse Resort and Casino.

Christensen led 2-up after nine holes, and a two-putt birdie on the par-5 13th hole increased his lead to 4-up with five holes to play.

"I hit a lot of drives down the middle, hit all the greens," Christensen said. "I just tried not to make any mistakes."

Christensen's win comes on the heels of his victory at the Pacific Northwest Senior Men's Amateur Public Links Championship at the Links Golf Club in Post Falls last week.
