GOP for God and country

Print Article

The Republican Party is not being fractured it is being cleansed of the people who are not true Republicans, if they were they wouldn't be writing such letters to the editor.

I must be the wacko that they are talking about and also the extremist and radical from other articles they have written about our group of conservatives who won our elections on May 25 2010. I am a broken-hearted grandmother who is watching the country that I love so much falling away into socialism and wanting to leave a free country for my little grandchildren whom I dearly love, saying to myself and to God what can I do to help stop this.

I found a group called Rally Right after many months of praying and asking God what do to. I found a Pastor and many other God loving and country loving people as broken hearted as I was. They had a plan to get good people into office so that we could finally trust politicians again. I saw a group of good people finally doing something instead of just talking and so I decided to join in helping them.

The plan to take over the central committee precinct by precinct was very successful. We ran 54 people against the more liberal committeemen in the precincts in Kootenai County and we won 42 of them. I have never met more loving and kind people that wanted to help their country. They are just like you and me just normal citizens afraid of what our country was turning into, not wackos or extremist or radicals like these men that lost their elections are saying. They are honorable and trustworthy with virtue like our founding fathers. Rally Right needed a person to run in my precinct so I decided to run for the position, which I have never thought to be in politics. Looking at it though, why wouldn't I, I consider myself a good person isn't that what we need? I ran and won my position, which I am learning as I go but I am willing to do whatever it takes to win my country back. I am a fighter and I am fighting back now as they keep calling me names. I have never called any of these people names, so I guess it shows their character. It is also so unfair that they are so viciously attacking Tina Jacobson and Phil Hart who I know are very good people who also love their country and are trying to make a difference in making it better for us all. I will stand up for both of these people anytime because they also have that integrity and honor that these other gentlemen seem to be lacking.

My hope is that as you good Americans hear these attacks against us and that you can see through their lies. This is the most important thing on my agenda as a precinct committeewoman is to stop the lies from politicians, we have to be able to believe they are being honest in what they are telling us. I also would like to invite more of you good Americans out there who believe in God and their country to come and join us in our fight to save our country. If everyone could just do a little to help then it wouldn't put such a burden on a few that are fighting the good fight. You can volunteer at the Republican Headquarters (765-8259) stuffing materials or making phone calls or even walking door to door. If this little grandma can do it so can you. Please help us win our country back.

Melanie Vander Feer is committeewoman from Precinct #3 (Athol).
