Windermere Foundation contributed $36,208 to charities in 2010

COEUR d'ALENE - The Windermere Foundation contributed $36,208 to local charities and those in need in 2010.

The foundation has given nearly $700,000 in the past 14 years.

Windermere employees contribute a portion of their commission to the foundation. The foundation also holds fundraisers.

"We're a sales and marketing organization with a big heart for the local community," said Don "Pepper" Smock, president of Windermere Coeur d'Alene Realty.
