Power outages reported throughout the region

Kootenai Electric and Avista are reporting scattered power outages throughout the area.

There were 342 Kootenai Electric customers affected as of 2:45 p.m., most of them near the southern portion of Lake Coeur d’Alene near Conkling Road off U.S. 95.

Avista is reporting 57 customers in the Post Falls, Rathdrum and Hayden areas were without power as of 3:20 p.m.

Avista estimates electricity will be restored by 8 p.m.
