Kootenai County Fire and Rescue honored by Toys for Tots

POST FALLS - Kootenai County Fire and Rescue has peen presented the Commander's Award from the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots program.

KCFR, which serves Post Falls, Dalton Gardens, Fernan Village and Wolf Lodge, provided space for the youth program to store, bag and distribute toys to 2,578 local children last Christmas.

Toys for Tots has served Kootenai County since 1997.
