The North Idaho College Foundation’s Really BIG Raffle has sold out with the help of supporters of the fundraiser who came forward close to the drawing date to purchase the last of the raffle’s 5,000 tickets. The final ticket was sold Tuesday evening.
“We’re so grateful to be able to say we sold out again, for 19 straight years,” said NIC Foundation Executive Director Rayelle Anderson. “We didn’t think we’d be able to say that this year, but through the generous support of our community, the media, sponsors and many, many others, we will be able to meet educational and student needs at NIC with proceeds of this fundraiser.”
All ticket holders and community members are invited to attend the Really BIG Raffle drawing at 7 p.m. TODAY Wednesday, July 11 in Fort Sherman Park on NIC’s main campus. The event will include live music and various door prize giveaways.
Ticket holders need not be present to win the $250,000 grand prize house, the first prize $20,000 car, a second prize $10,000 boat, a third prize $3,500 travel package, fourth prize $2,000 shopping spree or early bird prizes.
Ticket holders must bring the bonus prize entry, which is on the end of each raffle ticket stub, to the event to enter to win bonus prizes including a $100 gift certificate to Wolf Lodge Steakhouse, two passes to Silverwood Theme Park, a Kindle Fire donated by AEI Engineering, and a custom patio fire pit created by students in the NIC Welding program.
Entry for door prizes and the bonus prize begins at 5 p.m. and all entries must be entered by 7 p.m. to be eligible. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and bring lawn chairs to sit in during the event.
Concessions will be available.
