Kane new Avista operations manager in Sandpoint

Avista Utilities has named Jim Kane operations manager in Sandpoint, the company announced this week. In this position Kane will oversee all aspects of operations for Avista's 14,000 electric and 8,800 natural gas customers in the area, while also overseeing Avista's local community involvement.

Kane knows North Idaho well, having been born and raised in Coeur d'Alene. In his 22 years with Avista, Kane has worked at nearly every level in operations including journeyman lineman, apprentice instructor, general foreman and for the past 18 months as the temporary operations manager in Sandpoint.
