Gamma Phi Beta Sorority elects Hansen to education VP position

Gamma Phi Beta Sorority announced the election of Autumn Hansen of Indianapolis, Ind., to the position of education vice president.

Hansen is originally from Coeur d'Alene and a Lake City High School graduate.

Hansen has given more than six years to a variety of volunteer leadership positions for Gamma Phi Beta as well as service as a collegiate leadership consultant of the sorority. Initiated at Xi Chapter at the University of Idaho, Hansen will serve on a board of seven, overseeing an international volunteer base of more than 120 and a membership exceeding 180,000.

"I am honored to serve as the Education Vice President of Gamma Phi Beta. I am excited to continue the work of our organization in enhancing the lives of members through values-based educational initiatives and experiences," Hansen said.

Jhung to give presentation

July 12 at Cd'A Shilo Inn

Bill Jhung, director of the Small Business Development Center in Coeur d'Alene, will give a talk, "Building Rock-Solid Business Relationships in Troubled Times," on July 12 at the Coeur d'Alene Shilo Inn.

The program is presented by "The Heart of Business."

"This training could likely be exactly what you've been looking for to expand and grow your business," according to a press release.

Cost is $5 a person.
