TRAFFIC: Watch 4th and Best

Print Article

Kudos to Ralph Pederson, a former police officer, for writing to address an important traffic problem in Coeur d’Alene. I’m constantly being reminded of the fact that a number of automobile drivers disrespect even our most basic laws! It’s pretty telling when a respectful driver feels the need to say a quick prayer when approaching the intersection of Fourth Street and Best Avenue. If the Coeur d’Alene Police Department keeps an eye on this intersection alone, they may add to the city coffers and even save a life or two. It’s a place to start!
