MOSES LAKE, Wash. — Markus Golder had 23 points and 10 rebounds as North Idaho College beat the Big Bend Community College Vikings 101-82 in a Northwest Athletic Conference East Region game on Wednesday night.

With the win, NIC (21-3, 9-2 NWAC) remains tied with Spokane (20-4, 9-2) for the East Region lead, with the two scheduled face off on Saturday at Rolly Williams Court at 4 p.m.

Sam Dowd had 17 points and 10 assists for NIC, which led 50-46 at halftime before outscoring Big Bend 51-36 in the second half to pull away. Niko Bevans scored 19 points for NIC.

Leo Behrand scored 28 points for Big Bend (16-9, 8-4), which is fourth in the region.

MOSES LAKE, Wash. — Whitney Meier scored 21 points and Cierra Dvorak had 11 points, nine rebounds and eight assists to lead the Cardinals past the Vikings NWAC East Region win.

Sophomore Charity Marlatt had 18 points and seven rebounds for NIC (12-10, 5-6 NWAC), which hosts the Community Colleges of Spokane on Saturday at Rolly Williams Court.

Big Bend is 11-14, 3-9.
