NOTICE OF GRANT REQUEST PROPOSAL USDA FOREST SERVICE - NORTHERN REGION IDAHO PANHANDLE NATIONAL FORESTS The Idaho Panhandle National Forests is in the process of applying for grant funds through the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation Grant Programs. The proposed projects are located on the Sandpoint and Priest Lake Ranger Districts. Recreation Trails Program (RTP) Sandpoint: Cut back windfalls, improve tread and cut brush on 20 miles of trails in the Recommended Scotchman Peaks Wilderness area. Motorbike Fund (MBR) Sandpoint: N Gold Creek Trail 111 - construct puncheon and repair small bridges. Recreational Trails Program (RTP) Priest Lake: Navigation Trail 291 and Upper Priest Lake Trail 302 - repair and replace drainage structures, and construct erosion control structures.
