Car Clinic relocates
John Hoffman relocated his automotive repair business to 1321 Biz Town Loop in Hayden. Hoffman originally opened the business on Feb. 14, 1994.
He has more than 25 years of experience and he and master technician Anthony Prumatico are ASE certified.
Hoffman promises quick, courteous service on jobs ranging from oil changes to electrical, transmission, differential, computer diagnostics, brakes, front end, timing belts and other service work at the new facility.

Making their mark
The National Restaurant Association board named Bardenay owner Kevin Settles to join its board in May. Settles will serve as a voting director for the national board which serves to represent, educate and promote the restaurant industry, comprising 945,000 restaurants.
"I am very excited to be part of such a vibrant organization," Settles said. "I look forward to using my ties to the NRA to strengthen the Idaho Lodging and Restaurant Association."
NRA represents more than 380,000 member restaurant establishments. Settles will join the board of 82 directors from across the country representing every facet of the industry.
The board will lead in addressing the current issues of labor shortages and increased competition. Settles opened America's first restaurant and distillery, Bardenay in 1999 in downtown Boise. Bardenay has since expanded to include two additional locations, Eagle in 2004 and Coeur d'Alene in 2007.
Lynn Naylor was appointed to the Red Hot Mamas nonprofit board of directors. She replaces retiring board member Rosemary Schadel and joins Vicky Jo Carey, Karen Welts and Mikki Stevens. She holds bachelor's degrees in nursing and psychology and has served as president of a local women's investment club from 2000-2003.
Optometric physician Robert J. Johnson, OD, recently traveled to St. Louis, Mo. to present a lecture to the 6th Annual Healthy Eyes Healthy People Conference. Johnson was an invited speaker to the conference, held earlier this month. He was asked to speak regarding the grant he was awarded in 2007 to improve the vision screening program of the Post Falls School District.
Rathdrum Counseling Center, LLC added Dr. Timothy Stoddard to their mental health clinic in Rathdrum. Stoddard provides psychiatric services to clients receiving PSR and clinic services under their Medicaid health care plan. Rathdrum Counseling Center has moved to their permanent location at 14954 Coeur d'Alene St. Rathdrum Counseling Center accepts Idaho Medicaid, private pay and has a sliding fee scale available for those without insurance.
