THANKS: What a community

Print Article

My message is for all the people who helped my 91-year-old mom when she was assaulted and robbed recently. From neighbors helping bring groceries in, friends bringing food, and all of the support from phone calls and Facebook messages along with the kind and sympathetic professionals at Kootenai Health; all of the first responders from the fire department to all of the police officers who dove into this case and literally solved it and caught the assailant in just over 24 hours. I’m speechless!

It is impossible to express how grateful and thankful my family is for all the kindness shown to my mom. I am proud of our community and the way people come together in times of need. Thank you doesn’t seem like enough.
