EXCEL: Makes beautiful music

Print Article

A HUGE thank you to the Excel Foundation!

I am a music teacher in the Coeur d’Alene school district. In Coeur d’Alene, we are blessed to have community entities like Excel that help fund classroom projects and materials. This year, I was the recipient of three separate grants totaling $12,188.70. These grants will provide unique and challenging experiences to all my students. In short order my students will be learning about world drumming, playing brass instruments, and learning and playing the clarinet, flute and recorder. I am just so thankful for their contributions to all students of all grade levels and abilities.

Please consider joining them in their annual fundraiser — The Big Event — this Saturday from 5-9 p.m. at the Best Western Plus Coeur d’Alene Inn. Come out and support your local schools.
