OFFICER: A good egg

Print Article

I was told to tell you this story and I also thought you would like it. I was at the store the other day and forgot to put my eggs to be scanned. I forgot to take them out of my cart. So I go to the service department to pay for them and an off-duty officer overheard us talking. He was so nice he paid for them. To me that was a nice thing to do.

Iím on S.S. and 74 years old and to me thatís a lot of money. So you see, there is a lot of good in this world, not just bad. To me this is a wonderful thing to do. Once again I would like to thank him.
