SOTU: Sideshow delights

Print Article

Like millions of Americans, I found myself glued to the TV Tuesday night. The long awaited first State of the Union address was eloquently being delivered. Actually, there were two performances being presented simultaneously. The first was our newest Statesman President Trump who did an outstanding job sharing his accomplishments with the American citizens.

The second performance was referred to by one commentator as the “dark side” as the camera focused on the Democrats who refused to stand and applaud. The choice video was that of facial expressions of Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Shumer and Patti Murray.

It was entertaining, priceless and definitely good for laughs!
