TRUMP: Fly first class

Print Article

Many of the actions taken by our government against immigrant children and their families are in clear violation of U.S. and international law. But, according to Trump, these displaced and desperate people pose some kind of bizarre danger to us. If we donít detain or deport them, theyíll be prowling our streets, just waiting for us to come outside. Product of a disturbed mind, but thatís our president playing his fear card again. He has a handful of cards from that same deck: Fear, Ignorance, Mosogyny, Misology, Bigotry.

Those in limbo on our southern border, having lived hardships and real fear ó much of it courtesy of this administration ó give them a break. Give them all a break. Reunite their families. And give Trump a first class, one-way ticket to somewhere. Wherever. We, as a once proud nation, owe it to him.

Pass the hat. Iíll put in my share.
