GREAT: Or maybe not

Print Article

Watching Trump act as unpresidential as ever proves there’s no point explaining why his base gets attacked. They just don’t listen!

If they did, I’d tell them the word “great” (as in “Make America Great Again”) is probably the most misused word in the English language. Literally!

Tell me, is there a word more abused by the perpetually uninterested?

I know when I hear Trump say he “fixed the economy,” my usual response is “great” or, “that’s just great.”

The boost in the economy comes from the wealthy capitalizing on a downside economy to create more wealth. If you believe what Trump had to say before he became a public official that is.

We all know what a great businessman he was before he became the great commander in chief of the great trade war.

Am I putting too much greatness on that? Just great, right…?
