TRUMP: How dare you

Print Article

PETTY. Definition. Mean or ungenerous, meanness of spirit. Making things, events, or actions NORMAL PEOPLE dismiss as trivial or insignificant into excuses to be UPSET, uncooperative, childish or stubborn.

Ring a bell, bring any one person to mind? TRUMP. I cannot speak for everyone, nor would I want to, but I am so ashamed of The President of The United States of America. How dare he not fully acknowledge a senator who was a hero and POW, received the Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, Legion of Merit with a combat “V” and one gold star, Bronze Star with a combat “V” and two gold stars, and let us not forget a PURPLE HEART for being wounded in Vietnam. Trump had to be SHAMED into flying our most precious symbol, THE AMERICAN FLAG, at half-staff.

Some idiot will write in “he doesn’t have to.” You are right, but obviously you are “petty,” too. It is called RESPECT. My husband and I lined our yard with small flags and placed a larger one in our flagpole at half-staff.

Rest in peace, Senator McCain.
