Aranda

Matthias Aranda, 18, of Coeur d’Alene, was recently called to serve a two-year mission to the Philippines, Cavite Mission, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will enter the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, on Aug. 22. Matt is the son of Albert and Christina Aranda, also of Coeur d’Alene.

A 2018 high school graduate, Matt also attended North Idaho College. He plays cello in the orchestra at Coeur d’Alene Charter Academy, North Idaho Youth Symphony, the North Idaho Collage Chamber Orchestra and in the Maroon Orchestra at the Summer Strings Camp in Missoula, Mont., sponsored by the University of Montana. Matt has been working at The Grille from Ipanema.
