POST FALLS — The CEO of the Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel was arrested for misdemeanor battery early Tuesday morning in Post Falls.

Francis SiJohn, 50, Spokane, and a juvenile male were arrested around 3 a.m. after an alleged fight in the 2000 block of North Ivy Lane with a 40-year-old Post Falls man whom SiJohn knows, according to Post Falls Police.

"(SiJohn) apparently had been out drinking with the victim, got into a dispute and an altercation ensued," said Post Falls Police Capt. Greg McLean.

The incident allegedly took place in the victim's driveway and was reported by the victim's wife.

"The vehicle he was in was then pulled over by patrol, and he declined to give a statement of the facts," McLean added.

The juvenile was driving a Cadillac and the taillights were not on when he was pulled over.

McLean said both the victim and SiJohn sustained facial injuries. SiJohn was transported to Kootenai Health to be treated for injuries before he was booked into the Kootenai County Jail.

The juvenile was booked into the Juvenile Dentention Center for misdemeanor battery and cited for failure to purchase a driver's license. The police report does not note any injuries to the juvenile.
