Discuss affordable robotic arms Thursday

COEUR d’ALENE — The future of robotic prosthetic arms will be the hot topic Thursday evening at the Innovation Den.

Gizmo-CDA and the University of Idaho Coeur d'Alene are hosting "Gears, Beers and Engineers...Prosthetic Arms" from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The free gathering is open to all ages who are interested in discussing the path to design and prototype an affordable robotic arm. This event is being held as part of the Computer Science Week celebration.

The Innovation Den is located at 418 E. Lakeside Ave. in Coeur d'Alene.
