Navarro sought by crime task force

The North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking information leading to the apprehension of Robert Anthony Navarro.

Navarro is being sought on a Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office warrant for failure to appear on his the original charges for felony possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Navarro, 35, is a Hispanic male who is 5-foot 11-inches tall. He weighs 190 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. Navarro was most recently listed as living in Spokane Valley.

The violent crimes task force, consisting of members of the FBI, Idaho State Police, Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, Coeur d’Alene Police Department, Post Falls Police Department, and the Idaho Department of Correction, is tasked with locating and apprehending violent fugitives charged with such crimes as homicide, bank robbery, robbery, kidnapping, rape, sexual assault, felonious assault, arson and drug trafficking.

Anyone with information regarding Navarro or other fugitives being sought for violent crimes should call the NIVCTF at 208-665-4455. The identities of callers will remain confidential.
