KCSO seeks inmate who failed to return from work release

COEUR d'ALENE — The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a man who failed to return to custody from the work-release program.

Daniel Lee Munson, 31, of Clark Fork, was last seen by his employer Friday morning and was reported to have left the job site with his girlfriend.

He was still missing as of Sunday evening.

Munson was serving a sentence for violation of a no-contact order but given work release privileges. Munson is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with blue eyes and blond hair.
