Richard Mack, a Tea Party activist, Oath Keepers board member, founder of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association and former Arizona sheriff, will be the guest speaker at the Kootenai County Republican Party's annual Lincoln Day Dinner and Fundraiser taking place March 24 at The Coeur d'Alene Resort.

Now a Texas resident, Mack is running for Congress in his district's Republican primary in April.

While sheriff of Graham County, Ariz., Mack was a plaintiff in a successful lawsuit that challenged the constitutionality of the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act.
