Myths and misconceptions abound when it comes to the use of deadly force by law enforcement officers, according to a video posted on the Post Falls Police Department's website,

"This video provides important details regarding officer-involved shootings and the process used to investigate them. The process that is explained is from Lane County in Oregon, however, the process used in the Idaho, Region One Officer Involved Critical Incident Investigations Team is similar," states the website.

Created by the Eugene, Ore. police department and the district attorney's office in Lane County, the video features national and regional experts in forensics and law enforcement.

It was posted on the Post Falls PD's website in late March, not long after two Post Falls police officers were involved in the fatal shooting of fugitive Justin Todd. That matter remains under investigation.

Police agencies usually refrain from speaking to the media and the public about use of force incidents while an investigation is pending.

MyNosense, I haven't sided with anybody and if you had the ability to comprehend what you read, you'd know that. I don't have any idea what the PFPD is gonna do in the future. Do you?

Why comment on the Clason footage. It speaks for itself and the Coroner's Office made their findings. The difference between that video and Evans' video is that you can clearly see what is going on the the Clason video and don't have someone writing an essay telling you what happened no matter what you see. The other difference is that an investigation was concluded in the Clason case and it's still in progress in the Todd case, so what's your point?

Look who's talking, you do the same dam thing. You will obviously side with your own kind no matter what, even if there is "questionable actions" caught on tape, we get it RC.
Why didn't you comment on the Clason arrest footage?

Well done, professional video. But I guarantee the local "experts", chouili, floorist, etc. don't give a hoot about what's in the video. They're minds are made up before they even hear the facts.
