COEUR d'ALENE - The lower City Hall/Library parking lot will be temporarily closed for about 90 days starting after Labor Day. Access to the lower lot will be closed on Monday, Sept. 3.

Visitors will be directed to use the upper lots, the two-hour library lot and the current visitor spaces off Eighth Street. The utility drop-off box will be located off Eighth Street in the upper visitor parking lot at City Hall.

This first of two contract bid packages was awarded to ACI Northwest for $1,16 million for some mass grading and to construct new parking south of City Hall. Info: Doug Eastwood, 769-2252.

of course....we have representatives that are all republican. they are for themselves and not for the people that they were elected to represent ( by the way, big money and their personal gain got them elected).....I would like to see the tax returns for every council member PLUS the mayor. Guaranteed, they all have benefitted by their decisions being a member of the city's going on. People.....wake up......we are all screwed through taxes that are miss used by the city and county. a 911 event would change things here if it happened locally. California got rid of the garbage, we need to do the same. CDA has two ways to go.....those that will rule the city with money, and those that are " residents" that care to preserve the area and save the area.

Do you really think the FAB4 or the rest of the stakeholders care? Their and/or their partners or bosses property values are going UP. Courtesy of the taxpayers of CdA and Kootenai County.

Of course it will. Gotta keep the destruction going before those at city hall are evicted in the next election.
