An estimated $10,000 worth of coffee-making equipment is missing from a shut-down espresso stand in Hayden.

According to a Kootenai County Sheriff's Office report, the stand was being stored on a vacant lot on Government Way. On Wednesday morning, the owner's boyfriend drove by the lot and noticed the stand's air conditioning unit was missing. When he entered the stand he found all the equipment and product inventory missing.

The KCSO deputy questioned the owner of the stand who said it had been closed for approximately one year. No fingerprints were found on the stand but the deputy did collect a cigarette butt found nearby as evidence.
