COEUR d'ALENE - Two Best Avenue businesses and one on Appleway recently reported burglaries.
According to police reports, a coffee stand, restaurant supply store and tattoo shop were broken into during the last week.
Police said someone broke the door to enter the coffee stand late Wednesday or early Thursday and then smashed open the cash register valued at $600.
An employee told police she believed a customer who visited the stand several times Wednesday could be responsible.
The "male made her feel uncomfortable with the way he kept hanging around the business," the report said.
"She thought the body language of the male was odd," the police report said.
A tattoo gun inside a black sack was found just outside the stand.
A tattoo shop on Appleway reported someone entered the business late Saturday or early Sunday and took 10 tattoo machines valued at $150 to $450 each, and also took three framed Star Wars posters and jewelry. There was no sign of forced entry.
The total value of items reported missing was $3,000.
According to another police report, someone pried open the door over the weekend to enter the restaurant supply store on Best Avenue, near the burglarized coffee stand.
The suspect took about $525 and some Slim Fast bars.
A jacket and a screwdriver were left on the ground outside the broken door.
Investigations into the burglaries continue.
