COEUR d'ALENE - Republican Reed McCandless said he will get to the bottom of what happened to World Trade Center Building 7 on Sept. 11.

McCandless, who has a Moscow mailing address but declined to say where he lives, is one of several Republicans seeking to unseat Congressman Raul Labrador. The others are Sean Blackwell, Michael Greenway and Lisa Marie.

McCandless believes Building 7 didn't just collapse from heat and damage several hours after the nearby Twin Towers fell, but was brought down deliberately with explosives. It's a common conspiracy theory, and one that has been debunked.

"It's my responsibility to help the Republican voter become aware of some things that, to me, the Republican voter is supporting unwittingly," McCandless told The Press Tuesday as he campaigned.

He said the public remains in the dark about what exactly happened to Building 7.

"If people, I don't know, society, wants some evidence of something, you're not going to get any more than this," McCandless said. "If this doesn't work for people, nothing will."

He added: "There is no other explanation other than it was a controlled demolition."

The bank Salomon Smith Barney, the CIA, the Department of Defense, utility company ConEd and the IRS had space in the building. Everyone was able to evacuate Building 7 before it went down.

"I cannot expect Congress, I can't expect the Republicans to get this right on their own - they need a push," McCandless said. "And that's what I'm here to do."

He said such deceptive actions allow government powers, and their secret partners, to shape U.S. foreign policy around lies. That includes massive military expenditures, he said.

"There's no end to the ramifications of what happened to this building," McCandless said. "The real United States would not do that. The real United States would not sabotage something and blame it on somebody else just to start something."

The 52-year-old McCandless, who has three grown children and one 15-year-old son, makes his living as a truck driver.

A Harvard Law School grad and former constitutional law professor is qualified to be president of the United States, and so is a 9/11 truther nut. No hypocrisy there at all.

So a self-proclaimed community organizer who never worked in the private sector is qualified to be President of the United States; but according to you same progressive democrats, someone who runs a successful business is not fit to be a politician. The hypocrisy from progressive democrats is astonishing.

Whether the 9/11/2012 Benghazi embassy attack was by demonstrators upset about a video or by al Qaeda terrorists? Little to none at this point, and it was accurately reported by the administration. What difference did these embassy attacks make to GeeDubya and Faux "News"?
They hardly mentioned them, and Democrats didn't try to make political hay on them.

No-planers are a waste of time, but WTC 7 collapsed because of intense heat from its own fires started by flaming debris from the North Tower collapse ~7 hours earlier, not directly from "intense heat thrown out by the fire from the attack on the twin towers." These FDNY eyewitnesses and MANY more of them would be glad to explain that to 9/11 troofer knuckleheads:

If you'd really like to know why WTC 7 finally collapsed at ~5:21 PM, read NCSTAR 1A, 1-9, and 1-9A. The BBC misread a report based on the FDNY's decision to withdraw from the building hours earlier because they EXPECTED it to collapse; they're not in on your little tinfoil hat conspiracy.
The official story does make perfect sense, so let's take a look at yours:
Ask Richard Gage* and his "experts" to show you on video with audio how explosives or incendiaries secretly cut the 4.91" flanges, 3.07" webs, and 215 sq in cross sections of W14 X 730 columns like the 11 of 24 in WTC 7's core, and the 4 corner columns in each tower's core:

If they ever HAD TO do it, this "debate" would be OVER.

    *Gage's ONLY 9/11 "research":

Johnson you might want to take the blinders off and check with any friendly firefighter before you make statements you obviously know nothing about. Even in a normal fire, steel will fail even faster then wood frame. As far as none have failed before or after you might want to check with L.A. City and New York City for a partial list of oops your ignorance is showing. Do you really believe that president cheney was smart enough to have planned this?

    My point exactly.

We are never going to get the truth out of our controllers. Anyone with clout enough to cause big enough waves will be eliminated.

That was 13 years ago and here we sit. We know we were lied to. What can we do about it? Nada.
We know Eric Holder sold guns to Narcotraficantes en Mexico, y que viene? Otra vez, NADA.

We cannot do anything but wait for the end. In Jesus name. Amen

That is pure bovine fecal matter. Before September 11, 2001 no steel building had EVER collapsed due to fire, and none have in the 12+ years since September 11, 2001. Yet three did on that day. REALLY? C'mon...... take off your blindfold PLEASE!

Building 7 collapsed because of the intense heat thrown out by the fire from the attack on the twin towers. There are numerous eyewitness accounts of people inside the the pentagon that literally Had plane fragments from all parts of the plane embedded on walls , floors and other office spaces within the structure.

The question really is why would those in here believe otherwise?

I would rather wear a tin foil hat than a blind fold. There are some serious doubts in my mind about 9/11, like how a 757 hit the pentagon and only made a 16 foot wide hole in the side of it? Or why you see no wreckage from the plane? Call me a kook, but nothing about 9/11 adds up to me.

The Idaho legislature didn't listen to the trucking industry when they wanted to pay more in fuel taxes in return for better roads. What makes you think some whack job, trucker with a tin-foil hat can make a difference?

He can't tell you where he lives, The black helicopters are looking for him because he's about to uncover the secret of their planned concentration camp on Rathdrum Mountain - They plan on turning all the tin foil hat brigade over to the devil worshipers up there.

The current Superintendent of Schools, Tom Luna, makes his living building truck scales. There are farmers, doctors, a pro football player and a comedian in our current Congress, so why not a truck driver? I would not mind seeing a truck driver in Congress; trucking law is very complex and it might be nice if someone who understands the transportation industry was there to help mold it. It shouldn't be McCandless, though; the fact he won't tell you where he lives is extremely worrisome.

Ok... all of you making comments like "beyond tinfoil" and "Space cadet" etc. please explain to me exactly how DID building 7 fall? How exactly do you knock down three skyscrapers with two airplanes? Any why did building 7 "implode" into its own footprint as if it were a controlled demolition? (oh wait... so did the twin towers....). But never mind all that. Oh.... and why did the BBC report that building 7 had collapsed 20 minutes before it did?

Yep the official story makes perfect sense, doesn't it? And you people have the nerve to call someone who questions the fairy tale and wants to know the truth "crazy".

    Go back to sleep, sheeple.

More crazies in Idaho politics. Just what we need. I dream of moving away. Idaho is the laughing stock of the nation. I had lunch with out of town relatives the other day and they couldn't believe that the political nut cases that run Idaho rammed through legislation guns on college campus's. My cousin was going to send her daughter to NIC but has changed her mind about it now. I wonder how many parents feel the same way. We don't even vote here anymore. We just do what the teapots tell us to.
