EVERETT, Wash. - Barrett Serrato went 2 for 4 with four RBIs and two runs scored, and the Spokane Indians snapped a six-game losing streak by beating the Everett AquaSox 11-2 in Northwest League baseball Sunday afternoon before 1,943 at Everett Memorial Stadium.
Cam Schiller hit a two-run home run in the first inning for Spokane (2-8), and Preston Beck went 2 for 4 with two RBIs and two runs.
Spokane starter Abel De Los Santos held Everett (7-3) to one hit in five shutout innings for the win. He struck out four and walked three.
Spokane returns home to play Boise in a three-game series, beginning tonight at 6:30.
• Late Saturday night, Royce Bollinger's single with one out in the seventh inning was Spokane's lone hit in a 2-0 loss to Everett in the seven-inning second game of a doubleheader.
