YAKIMA - Josh Parr and Shaun Cooper each had two RBIs to lead the Yakima Bears past the Spokane Indians 7-3 on Monday night in Northwest League play before 1,193 at Yakima County Stadium.

Christopher Garia drove in Spokane's first run with a double in the fifth. Gabriel Roa followed with a single, bringing Garia around to cut into the Bears' lead to 4-2.

Spokane added a run in the eighth as Cam Schiller's double to center scored Ryan Rua.

Indians starter Jose Valdespina only lasted three innings, giving up four runs on five hits while striking out four.

Bears starter Alexander Carreras picked up his fourth win with a six-inning, four-hit effort.

Yakima 10-8) hosts Spokane (7-11) again tonight at 7 p.m.
