LEWISTON - Emilee Schlader and Brett Hastings had 12 kills each as the Lewiston Bengals defeated the Coeur d'Alene Vikings 24-26, 25-23, 25-23, 25-16 in a 5A Inland Empire League match at Booth Hall on Thursday night.

Kayla McGlathery had 15 kills, Megan Ramseyer 27 assists and two aces, Amy Norris 13 digs and Sydney Williams three blocks for Coeur d'Alene (10-5, 1-3 5A IEL), which travels to Sandpoint on Tuesday.

Makayla Wilson had 22 assists and Klaree Hobart 14 digs for league-leading Lewiston (17-1, 4-0).

RATHDRUM - Kylie Curtis had 13 kills and 12 digs as the Timberwolves beat the Hawks 25-14, 26-24, 25-22 in a nonleague match at Hawk Court.

Madi Farrell had nine kills, Kaity Widmyer 21 assists and six digs and Brenna Condon and Brittany Gay eight digs each for Lake City (10-2), which travels to Moscow on Tuesday.

Lakeland (2-12) competes in a tri-match against Post Falls and Mt. Spokane on Saturday in Post Falls.

ST. MARIES - Lexi Posch had seven kills, 10 digs and three aces as the Tigers beat the Lumberjacks 25-16, 25-21, 25-18 in a nonleague match.

"I thought we played well," Timberlake coach Michelle Garwood said. "We served well and ran some good offense and played good as a team."

Jessica Norlander had six kills and three blocks, Sydnie Malloy 18 assists, five digs and four aces and Jenna Hoffman seven aces for Timberlake (6-4), which hosts Priest River on Tuesday.

St. Maries (6-9) travels to Bonners Ferry on Tuesday.

HARRISON FLATS - Ruth Haynes had 10 kills and 10 blocks as the Knights beat the Warriors 25-21, 25-15, 25-22 in a North Star League match.

"We missed critical serves, but did better in our net play," Kootenai coach Jessica Hammond said. "But we missed more serves than we usually do tonight."

Analesha George had six aces, Sierra Shamburg 15 digs and Avery Brown-Sonder 26 assists for Lakeside (5-1, 3-1 NSL), which hosts Clark Fork on Saturday.

Ellison Schultz had 15 assists and two aces, Brie Benson nine kills and Lacy Goodsen four kills for Kootenai (2-7, 1-4), which travels to Clark Fork on Tuesday.
