Jena R. Mills, 53

Jena R. Mills passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer on Jan. 20, 2018, at her home in Buffalo, Wyo. Jena was born April 2, 1964, in Spokane, Wash. to Richard and Carol Jacquot. She grew up on the family farm in Hayden, Idaho, the oldest of four siblings. She graduated from private Christian school in Hayden in 1982.

Jena married Roger Mills in Coeur d’Alene on Aug. 1, 1982. Following their marriage, they moved to Little Rock, Ark., for six years, then back to Coeur d’Alene where they started their family. They were blessed with two daughters, Malea and Jolene. They moved their family to Buffalo, Wyo., in 1997. Jena was active in two baptist churches in her area, where she taught Sunday school, played the piano and sang regularly. She loved to teach others music, and she left a lasting impression on those she taught and will be missed by many.

Jena is survived by her husband, Roger and two daughters, Malea and Jolene of Buffalo; along with her parents, Richard and Carol Jacquot of Hayden, Idaho; three siblings and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by their son, Jacob.

Funeral services were held Jan. 25, 2018, in Buffalo, Wyo.
