Marty James Lang, 50
Marty James Lang, 50, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, went missing on July 14, 2017, from Newport, Wash. After several months of searching by multiple agencies, his family and friends, Marty has never been found.
In an effort to gain some closure the family is having a celebration of life at 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at the Whistle Stop, located at 2700 E. Seltice Way, Post Falls, Idaho. This day will mark the one year anniversary of Marty’s disappearance and the family feels it should be spent together to honor and share memories of Marty. The family will have appetizers and refreshments available and welcomes anyone that would like to bring additional finger food.
Marty’s son Thomas, along with his parents, Dale and Mary Jo and sister, Kim Worthington would like to extend a special thank you to all of Marty’s friends that volunteered their time to search for him.
I’ve finished life’s chores assigned to me,
So put me on a boat headed out to sea.
Please send along my fishing pole
For I’ve been invited to the fishin’ hole.
Where every day is a day to fish,
To fill your heart with every wish.
Don’t worry, or feel sad for me,
I’m fishin’ with the Master of the sea.
We will miss each other for awhile,
But you will come and bring your smile.
That won’t be long you will see,
Till we’re together you and me.
To all of those that think of me,
Be happy as I go out to sea.
If others wonder why I’m missin’
Just tell ‘em I’ve gone fishin’
