Thank you Coeur d'Alene Press for printing the names of the committee to redevelop McEuen Field. Now we know who to fire, sue and generally hold accountable for this idiocy.

To those elected officials on that list, get those resumes ready, you'll be looking for new jobs. But considering your failure to understand the word "NO!" I don't believe you'll have much luck in the future.

And to the actual author of this plan, I say this: "If you don't like the view from your leaning, ivory tower of stupidity and greed, you can close the drapes or leave."

The park, the baseball diamond, the softball field, AND THE BOAT LAUNCH belong to the PEOPLE of this city. Not you. Not to your ego. And not to your cronies.

I agree with Straight Up, the voters in this area cant be counted on to do the right thing. Now I hear that these same "planners" want to close the 3rd street boat launch. The lake needs MORE boat launches not one less.

It's hard to read the local paper when the writing is awful, we never get a full story on anything, and it's owned by the very guy who would love to see McEuen transformed.

    Good luck folks.

CDA has the most apathetic voter base in existence.

People don't read the local news or keep up with issues.

They vote name recognition and keep returning the same people to office.

    CDA reaps what it sows.

I agree. Attend the meetings. Send your comments. Be proactive. Encage your friends in the fight. Don't give in or give up. Remember to vote...
