Any conservative-Republican candidate who agrees to the upcoming CEP “balanced” Coeur d’Alene Schools Trustee debate is truly brave. It is similar to walking into the lion’s den. The board of directors consists of two former liberal school board members, one of whom quit after the board began to lean conservative; so much for tolerance and balance. The other board members represent an array of liberal activist community members. The Coeur Group formulating the questions appears to have close ties to CEP and “Balance North Idaho,” which endorsed the left leaning school board candidates.

Conservative candidates had better suit up in armor as the spin is about to begin. As I understand, Democrats are supporting Hearn, Eubanks and Christa Hazel. The Republicans are supporting Seddon, Regan and Bjorn. Party affiliation is only part of the equation, and we all know it is; but ability, knowledge, enthusiasm, vision, experience and track record need to be part of one’s voting choice. Let us hope CEP conducts a fair debate.

Just got back from the debate, overall not too bad, was a little disappointed that Ann Seddon and Bjorn Handeen were not present. I was impressed with Eubanks, not so much in Hearn, or Hazel.

Democrat rule #1: If you can't come up with a substantive argument, call your opposition racist.

Poor Flash. It must be sad going through life without an original thought.

That is a hoot! Considering that not so many years ago these they would've been considered conservatives. But, coming from a group that far outstrips their zeal of "rightwingness more than Ronnie Reagan himself, think that there is some global UN plot to takeover the US education system in the form of IB or Commoncore, and that these people do not possess the capability of knowing the differences between fascism, communism, and socialism why oh why would anyone vote for these people? It is no wonder why Idaho ranks 48th. Time to switch it up people . Vote for sanity and not fringe.

Brent Regan does not have the good judgement necessary to be an effective school board member. His public comments on "social issues" makes him unqualified for the position........well wait a minute, that's probably one of the reasons Martha supports him:)

"Come on sheeple, vote for candidates who offer up the best ideas and solutions, candidates who are able to commit the time it takes to be a good community servant."

If you're looking for the best ideas and solutions that really work, vote Brent Regan for Trustee Zone 1!

Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.......better watch out for cold hearted Liberals making snacks out to mindless Conservative sheeple...Baaaaaaaaaaa.

Really now, who should give a rats pajama’s about the party a candidate hangs their hat on? Come on sheeple, vote for candidates who offer up the best ideas and solutions, candidates who are able to commit the time it takes to be a good community servant. I like most folks with at stitch of commonsense, am sick and tired of the ideological horse-poo. Rare is there a person who subscribes 100% or even 70% to any ideological platform. If they did, they would be a liar or considered extremists
