PEAK Health and Wellness Center is a place where people can transform their lives through sweat equity.
The wellness operation was launched in 1982 as Ironman Athletic Club by a group of investors who wanted to change the physical demographics of the people living in Kootenai County,
“At that time, the passionate goal of bringing this fitness facility forward to the community was absolutely the most exciting everything to all of the owners lives,” said Tallie Althen, marketing director and co-owner. “It was the true beginning of fitness in the Coeur d'Alene area. That passion has never left.”
PEAK Health and Wellness Center rebranded itself in 2017 to better capture its mission and offerings.
PEAK facilities are staffed entirely with professionals, all trainers are certified to ensure people are working out properly.
“Getting fit isn't just lifting weights,” said Althen. “ We have multiple choices for you with tennis, pickleball, racquetball, TRX, group exercise classes, swimming lessons, bootcamps and special trainer programs.”
PEAK members also can access a dietitian, a massage therapist and a physical therapist.
PEAK has three locations. PEAK Coeur d'Alene is located in the Ironwood Hospital District. PEAK Post Falls is located next to the Super 1 Foods grocery store off of Mullan Avenue. The PEAK Hayden Tennis Center is located near the Prairie shopping complex and Hayden Public Library. For more information, contact http://thepeakid.com
