Meg Lowery

University of Mary soccer

Lowery, a junior midfielder from Coeur d’Alene High and North Idaho College, was named to the United Soccer Coaches Division II women’s All-Central Region team. Lowery finished second on the team in goals with seven and third in points with 16 after also finishing with two assists. Lowery was previously named to the All-Northern Sun Conference second team. The University of Mary finished with a 12-5-2 record.

Max McCullough

Eastern Oregon basketball

McCullough, a 5-foot-11 sophomore guard from Post Falls High, scored 21 of his game-high 26 points in the second half as the Mountaineers (8-2, 0-2 Cascade Conference) lost to Oregon Tech on Sunday in Klamath Falls. For the season, McCullough is averaging 21 points per game, with a season-high of 38 points against Northwest Indian College on Nov. 12 in La Grande.
