LEWISTON — The Panthers won the boys title and the overall title at the 3A District 1-2 tournament on Friday and Saturday.

Coeur d’Alene qualified 11 to the state tournament Friday and Saturday in Caldwell.

They are:

Dom Zepeda (2nd place, boys singles) — Zepeda d. defeated Caleb Wing, Culdesac, 6-0, 6-0. Zepeda d. Garrett Jackson, Clearwater Valley, 6-3, 6-0. Colby Kennedy, Grangeville, d. Zepeda 7-6 (2), 7-6 (5).

Jackson Emry (4th place, boys singles) — Emry d. Tiyapo Campbell, Culdesac, 6-3, 7-6 (3). Colby Kennedy, Grangeville, d. Emry 6-0, 6-1. Emry d. Logan Koenig, Cd’A Charter, 6-2, 6-3. Garrett Jackson, Clearwater Valley, d. Emry 6-0, 6-2.

Emma Bartlett (2nd place, girls singles) — Bartlett d. Rebecca Kaschmitter, Grangeville, 6-1, 6-1. Bartlett d. Marie Hauger, Grangeville, 6-0, 6-0. Makaela Herrick, Clearwater Valley, d. Bartlett 6-1, 4-6.

COEUR d’ALENE — Coeur d’Alene beat Borah of Boise on Saturday in a quarterfinal game in the state class B high school lacrosse playoffs.

Coeur d’Alene will play either Middleton or Ambrose in a semifinal game Friday night at Eagle High. The winner advances to the championship game Saturday afternoon at Eagle.
