Post Falls Burger King opens Monday
POST FALLS - The Post Falls Burger King next to Walmart at 2956 E. Mullan Ave. will open on Monday.
The 3,000-square-foot, contemporary-style eatery will employ 60.
Franchisee David Littlefield also owns the Burger King on Appleway in Coeur d'Alene and the one on Prairie Avenue in Hayden.
The previous Burger King in Post Falls - off the Pleasant View exit on the west side of the city - closed several years ago.
Hours will be from 6 a.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday and Sunday. Hours Friday and Saturday will be from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m.

to hold fall meeting
The Idaho Travel Council will hold its annual fall meeting at Terrace Lakes Resort in Garden Valley, Idaho, on Wednesday, beginning with breakfast at the Longhorn Cafe in Crouch.
Items on the agenda include an introduction of the new Commerce director, Jeff Sayer; discussion of budget, work plan and marketing plan; online reservation report; grant program updates; public relations report; presentation on 150th Territorial Commemoration; Drake Cooper Agency updates and discussion on whitewater sports branding.

Area real estate agents receive designation
Two real estate agents with Century 21 Beutler and Associates have been awarded the Certified Negotiation Expert designation by the Real Estate Negotiation Institute.
Marcello Conigliaro and Katie Bane earned the honor after completing formal negotiation training.
Conigliaro has been selling real estate in North Idaho since 1994 and also holds the Certified Residential Specialist, Graduate Realtor Institute, and Accredited Buyer Representative designations.
