The Coeur d'Alene School District is trying to protect its liberal "sacred cow" - the IB program. First, it holds a "workshop" to supposedly discuss its competing advanced learning programs - IB and AP, and then they "forget" to bring any cost information. Everyone knows IB is much more expensive than AP for both the district and parents.
On Monday, Sept. 26, the district has scheduled a "chat" about the programs but say they can't promise they'll make the cost information available before Monday's meeting. New trustees Tom Hamilton and Terri Seymour keep asking for this information to be made public. I guess replacing only two trustees (and no administrators) wasn't enough.
