Harold Glen Williams, 89
Harold Glen Williams passed away Jan. 11, 2017, of natural causes. He was born in Haxtun, Colo., on Sept. 10, 1927, to Harry and Mariana Williams, along with his twin brother, Harry David.
The family moved to Latah, Wash., when he was 6 months old where he attended grade school and high school. He joined the Navy, along with his twin brother, in 1944. Upon his return to Latah, he dated his childhood friend and sweetheart Shirley L. Farrelly. They were married on Jan. 6, 1948. He attended and graduated as a pharmacist from Washington State University. They started their family bringing into this world five children.
He had a long and prosperous career as a pharmacist. Most of his career was spent in Spokane, Wash., and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Shirley Laurel Williams. He is survived by his twin brother, Harry David Williams of Kennewick, Wash.; his children, Cynthia Stricklin, Carla Shields, Rex Williams, Cathy Williams, Carrie Arnn Coleman and their spouses. He was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
