PUBLIC NOTICE Subject: Warranty Cancellation Item: Vinyl Composition Tile Job Site: Heritage Health Clinic., Rathdrum, Idaho Contractor: R & R Flooring & Design, CDA Details for cancellation: Discribed flooring was installed as manufacturer s recommendations, as had hundreds of like floorings during contractors 50 + years in business with no product or install problems. After initial install, Janitorial and Heritage Management were informed of the proper method for required cleaning, sealing, and waxing new install, with recommended time for addhesive curing. (min. 48 hours) This action was not carried out within the recommended time resulting in a after install stain appearing in the main hallways. The stain was apparantly attempted to be removed by the party who was responsible for the spoilage. This action by a unqualified janitorial employee resulted in a permanently damaged area. To quote the factory inspector/representative "the damage to this floor is due to excessively aggressive product being spilled or used on it" After R & R Flooring attempted to fix/replace the area damaged by the improper janitorial actions at a reduced rate, the powers to be are now employing a third contractor to cover said area wit the same carpet product as installed in the remaining office-lobby areas by R & R Flooring. Now why do you suppose they would take this route, could it be to avert attention away from the real cause of the original problem caused by the managements inactions? Respectfully: R & R Flooring & Design CDA LEGAL 2448 AD# 327720 SEPTEMBER 20, 2019
