HOLIDAYS: Mail makes merry

Print Article

The holiday season is now upon us and that means the U.S. Postal Service will bring more people together no matter how far the distance between family and friends.

The USPS is expected to deliver more than 15 billion pieces of mail during this special season. In the time between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day, the Postal Service also expects to deliver 850 million packages, which is more than a 10 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

Each piece of mail delivered to our customers has a special meaning: it shows the love and caring toward one another to promote a positive environment in our great nation.

All this is done without tax dollars and employing approximately 113,000 military veterans at the same time.

Please mail your “treasures” early this year so that it can get there in time to keep its special meaning.

Thank you for supporting the Postal Service to not only promote a positive atmosphere during the holiday season, but during the rest of the year. We value you and your business.
